 Sale Schedule:
Wednesday - 8:30 AM (first and third Wednesday) sows, boars, and fat hogs 
Wednesday - 9:00 AM Fat Cattle (as needed) (BQA certification is required)
Saturday - 9:45 AM Misc. & Hay Sale (Every Saturday)
Saturday - 12:00 Livestock (sheep, goats, horses, feeder pigs, breeding stock, feeder cattle, cull cows and bulls) (Every Saturday)
(BQA Certificate is required to sell Fat cattle)
(New Vet charges on Sheep & Goats if the farmer has them already tagged and written down to give vet there will be no charge.  If vet tags them for you or has to read tags it will cost $4/head. 
All Equine have to be Coggins tested before they can sale. This process probably will take a week to do, so plan ahead

Due to state and federal vet regulations all breeding stock as of Nov. 5, 2024 will need to be given a wand read tag and starting now all Bulls & heifers over 800# must be ID'd before the sale.  Sorry for the inconvenience. The Vet at the barn has to id them here.

REMINDER: Omaha Livestock Wednesday hog sales will be on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month: Red Oak livestock will have sales every Saturday with selling weigh cows & bulls also. The will no longer be slaughter cow sales on Wednesdays.

Any sow producers need to get their premise I.D. # program started because if they don't have tags in their ear starting January 1st.,
(Don't hesitate get this done)
They are requiring the tags on all the sows & boars now.
You can call 1-888-778-7675 or go to Iowa Department of Agriculture and land stewardship to get premise form to get your premise farm #, if you already have premise I.D. # & need tags; call your local vet or go to Pork Board. Org to order tags.I believe Southern Hills @ Corning may have the form to fill out.
